Bissau-Guinean writer Rosário Alberto Nhaga has published A Voz da Paz — 10 Minutus ku Deus, his third book, which has 343 pages. Inspired by a radio programme hosted by Father Davide Sciocco on Rádio Sol Mansi, the book brings together reflections on faith, justice and reconciliation, the author told O Democrata.

Bissau-Guinean writer Rosário Alberto Nhaga has published his third book, “A Voz da Paz — 10 Minutus ku Deus”, on peace, faith and social reconciliation. The 343-page book is inspired by the daily columns of the radio programme of the same name, hosted by Father Davide Sciocco on Rádio Sol Mansi.

In a statement to the newspaper O Democrata, Rosário Nhaga said he wanted to preserve the programme’s messages in writing and make them accessible to a wider audience. The book addresses justice, solidarity, dialogue and tolerance, among other subjects.

Born in Bissau in 1999, the author graduated in political science and international relations from the Nova Esperança Polytechnic Institute. His two previous works are “Cada Página é uma Gargalhada”, a collection of humorous stories published in 2024, and “Fala de Alma”, published in 2025 and focused on identity and human values.

The publication adds to the books presented in Guinea-Bissau in recent weeks. On 26 September, Tamilton Gomes Teixeira published a book on instability in Guinea-Bissau.
