The Malian Armed Forces struck several positions attributed to terrorist armed groups during operations conducted on 3 and 4 November 2026 in several parts of the country. The General Staff said the actions, carried out as part of Operation Dougoukoloko, were based on intelligence that notably helped locate a base near Koro.

The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) struck a base attributed to terrorist armed groups on 3 November 2026, about 52 kilometres north-east of Koro, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, cited by Bamada.net. The intervention, conducted as part of Operation Dougoukoloko, was launched after intelligence helped locate the position, where suspected fighters, motorbikes and a fuel depot were among the items present.

The Malian forces carried out several precision strikes after confirming the target, according to the Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the Armed Forces (DIRPA). The General Staff also reported that another terrorist position was targeted on 4 November in Sandaré, without providing further details of the intervention in the statement cited.

The operations follow the four strikes carried out on 4 November by the Malian army against armed groups. They continue the intensification of counter-terrorism operations launched in early October, according to the army’s previous announcements.
