Al Sabah Children’s Hospital in Juba is seeking the parents or guardians of 14 South Sudanese children selected to undergo medical operations in Israel. The children were examined in October 2025 by a team of Israeli doctors in South Sudan, Eye Radio reports.

Dr Amanda Billy, a doctor at Al Sabah Hospital, said the facility had been unable to reach the families using the contact details provided during the screening. She asked them to come to the hospital as soon as possible to allow the treatment planned in Israel to be organised, according to Eye Radio.

The doctor also called on people who know where the children or their parents are to pass on the announcement. Families can contact Dr Amanda Billy directly at Al Sabah Hospital, Eye Radio said.
