Israeli strikes have killed at least seven people in the Gaza Strip, including in displacement camps in Khan Younis, according to Palestinian sources. Hospitals and Civil Defence reported several deaths and injuries in different parts of the enclave, La Presse reported.
At least seven people, including a seven-year-old girl, were killed in several Israeli strikes on Tuesday in the Gaza Strip, including attacks on tents sheltering displaced people in Khan Younis, according to local Palestinian sources. Civil Defence said it evacuated three victims after a strike on a displacement camp in al-Mawasi, west of the city, its spokesperson Mahmoud Bassal said.
Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis confirmed that three bodies had arrived and several injured people, including a woman and a child, had been admitted. Civil Defence reported another death after a strike on a tent near Khan Younis, while al-Shifa Hospital reported that a person was killed in Gaza City’s Rimal neighbourhood by a drone targeting a group of civilians.
Two more people were killed by an explosive device dropped by a drone east of Deir al-Balah, according to medical sources. Gaza’s Interior Ministry also announced the deaths of two security officers and reported two people injured during a mission in the city.
Civil Defence recorded 13 deaths and about 60 injuries over the past 24 hours. Tanks, military vehicles and a bulldozer also entered an area west of the “Yellow Line”, according to a security source in Gaza, who reported gunfire towards the east and north of Deir al-Balah.
