After Nottingham Forest’s 2-0 defeat by Brentford, manager Oliver Glasner said changes were needed and raised the possibility of a sixth manager taking charge if the club did not follow a new direction. Forest are 19th in the Premier League, one point above the bottom, Punch reports, citing BBC Sport.
Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner has raised the possibility of a sixth manager taking charge at the club after their 2-0 defeat by Brentford on Saturday in the Premier League. “If some don’t want to follow, then I suppose the sixth manager will arrive,” he told the BBC’s Match of the Day programme, according to Punch.
Nottingham Forest are 19th in the league, one point above the bottom side. The club have lost four of their last five Premier League matches and have managed only a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town during that period.
Glasner acknowledged that his team were making too many defensive errors and lacked a cutting edge in front of goal. Brentford opened the scoring with an own goal by Nikola Milenkovic, before Igor Thiago doubled their lead in the 76th minute. Forest had only one shot on target.
The team are due to host Manchester City in their next match. Manchester City, beaten by Brighton, remain Nottingham Forest’s next opponents, according to Punch.
