Manchester United came back from four goals down to draw 4-4 against Aston Villa at Old Trafford, with two goals in added time. The result leaves the English club 18th in the Premier League with 8 points and without a win since late August, according to Punch.

Manchester United avoided another Premier League defeat by snatching a 4-4 draw against Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday, thanks to two goals in the six minutes of added time, according to Punch. Joshua Zirkzee reduced the deficit before Patrick Dorgu equalised in the final seconds.

The result leaves Michael Carrick's future uncertain, with Manchester United in the relegation zone and on a run of eight Premier League matches without a win. The club have won only three of their 15 matches this season, after ending a run of nine games without a win in all competitions by beating AS Roma 3-2 in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Aston Villa took a 2-0 lead in the first four minutes through Alysson and Nicolas Jackson. Bruno Fernandes reduced the deficit from the penalty spot in the 16th minute, before Youri Tielemans equalised in the 44th. John McGinn restored Villa's lead from the penalty spot in the 48th minute, before Leon Goretzka made it 4-2 in the 53rd.

Manchester United will travel to Liverpool on 22 November, after the international break.
