The Climate Change Information Centre of the Egyptian Agricultural Research Centre has warned farmers of the possible persistence of morning mist in the coming days, with particular attention to recently transplanted or germinating crops. Its director, Mohamed Ali Fahim, relayed the warning, according to the Egyptian daily Al-Youm Al-Sabea.

Data from the Egyptian Meteorological Authority forecast mist over large areas between 15 and 19 September. The country is expected to experience hot and humid weather in the morning, then hot to very hot conditions during the day, with higher temperatures in the south. Farmers are urged to monitor the condition of their plants from the morning, particularly during the early stages of their development.
