The National Reference Centre for Sexually Transmitted Infections and Antiretroviral Therapy (CNRISTAR) continued its campaign to raise young people’s awareness of HIV and sexually transmitted infections in Kpalongo, 13 kilometres from Bangui, on Saturday, Centra News reports.
The session was mainly aimed at young people aged 10 to 24. It also covered unwanted pregnancies and the risks associated with clandestine abortions, as part of the activities of the Central African Republic’s Ministry of Health and Population.
The campaign follows a session organised in Boeing, Centra News specifies. It comes after the Central African Republic’s Gender Ministry raised its staff’s awareness of HIV, on 30 October.
