Cameroon’s National Hydrocarbons Corporation has ordered operators Perenco and Addax Petroleum to submit their lifting schedules, undergo quarterly inspections and have certain expenses approved. The rules concern the marketing of Kolé and Lokélé crude, agreed at a meeting in Paris.
The National Hydrocarbons Corporation (SNH), the Cameroonian state’s representative in the oil sector, has imposed new rules on Perenco and Addax Petroleum for monitoring Kolé and Lokélé crude. The three parties agreed in particular on the advance submission of annual schedules, quarterly site visits and the approval of expenditure, according to Camer.
Meeting in Paris on 21 October 2026, their joint committee examined international market data, confirmed stock movements and scheduled oil liftings. It also set official prices for the third quarter and examined lifting forecasts for the final three months of the year.
Kolé and Lokélé crude come from mature fields in Cameroon’s sedimentary basin. Perenco and Addax Petroleum market them under SNH supervision, while the prices adopted serve as the basis for calculating royalties and taxes paid to the state.
