Algeria’s embassy in Warsaw denied that Algerian aircraft carrying weapons had flown over Poland. It said the flights were authorised and that no dangerous material had been carried, citing a denial from Poland’s Operational Command.
The Algerian embassy in Warsaw denied on Wednesday 28 October that Algerian aircraft carrying weapons had flown over Poland. It said that the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces had itself rejected the allegations, according to a statement from the Algerian diplomatic mission.
The embassy said that flights by Algerian aircraft complied with international and bilateral rules, as well as authorisations granted by the countries being overflown. It assured that no dangerous material had been transported and called for information to be checked with official sources, according to the same statement.
The diplomatic mission also said it wanted to strengthen relations between Algeria and Poland, which it described as a friendly country.
