Wallonia-Brussels delegation to close in Tunisia in 2027

The governments of Wallonia and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation plan to close their delegation in Tunisia in the second half of 2027, without maintaining a scaled-down presence there. The announced closures would also affect Madrid, Hanoi and Santiago, where a reduced presence would be retained, according to Belgian newspaper Le Soir, cited by Webdo.

The prospect has caused dismay among the partners of the Wallonia-Brussels Delegation in Tunisia. The French-speaking Belgian institution has co-operated with the country in several sectors for decades.
