Renault is launching the Boreal, its new compact SUV, in Morocco at a starting price of 279,000 dirhams, with two powertrains, including a 160 hp hybrid. Available to order since 3 November, the model will be delivered from 12 November, according to Le Matin.

The Renault Boreal is now available to order in Morocco, with a starting price of 279,000 dirhams. First deliveries are scheduled from 12 November 2026, according to Renault Maroc.

The compact SUV is offered with two powertrains, a 145 hp TCe petrol engine and a 160 hp Full Hybrid E-Tech powertrain. The Moroccan range has three trim levels, with prices reaching 349,000 dirhams, according to Renault Maroc.

The Boreal is 4.56 metres long, 1.84 metres wide and 1.66 metres high, with a 2.70-metre wheelbase. Its ground clearance reaches 222 mm, and some versions can be fitted with 19-inch wheels, a two-tone body and a panoramic sunroof.

The model is produced in Curitiba, Brazil, for the Latin American market, and in Bursa, Turkey, for deployment in other markets. Mehdi Yaroub, managing director of Renault Maroc, said the Boreal should strengthen the brand’s offering in the C-SUV segment and respond to more diverse demand for comfort, equipment and electrified powertrains.

The Moroccan launch follows that of Mercedes-Benz’s hybrid GLB SUV in Casablanca, announced on 21 October 2026. It comes amid a recent sequence of new vehicle models entering the Moroccan market, following the launch of the hybrid GLB SUV in Casablanca.
