Ekhaya coach Fundi Akidu wants to reduce the number of goals his team concedes in the FDH Premiership, Malawi’s top-flight league. He identified this weakness as one of the problems that affected the club during the first half of the season, Malawi24 reports.
Ekhaya were due to host Kamuzu Barracks at Chiwembe Stadium in Blantyre on Saturday, when the league resumed. Akidu stressed that although his team won the Airtel Top 8, it had not achieved the results it had hoped for in the league, notably because it conceded goals in every match, according to Malawi24.
