Eswatini has repatriated 11 third-country nationals since July 2025 under an agreement with the US government. The latest departure involved a Guinean national who returned home after a voluntary return organised with the authorities, according to acting government spokesperson Thabile Mdluli.

Eswatini has repatriated 11 third-country nationals since July 2025 under an arrangement with the United States government, acting government spokesperson Thabile Mdluli announced. The latest person repatriated, a Guinean national, left the kingdom on Friday and arrived in his country on Saturday after agreeing to return voluntarily, according to a statement cited by the Times of Eswatini.

Eswatini’s authorities say they organise these returns with the relevant national services and international partners, in accordance with applicable laws and procedures. They also say they make arrangements to ensure the safety and onward travel of those concerned, while keeping the public informed of significant developments.

The announcement follows the repatriation of three people deported from the United States, announced on 8 October in an earlier repatriation. The latest arrival brings to 11 the total number of third-country nationals returned since the arrangement began in July 2025.
