Senegalese businesswoman Mame Diarra Thiam, alias Diodio Glow Skin, allegedly paid nearly seven million CFA francs to influencer Rox over one year, in an investigation into online attacks and insults. Some of the money was allegedly intended for Adamo to target people, according to L’Observateur and Libération.

Mame Diarra Thiam, also known as “Diodio Glow Skin”, allegedly paid nearly 7 million CFA francs to Rokhaya Fall, known as Rox, over one year in Senegal. The payments are being examined in an investigation into an alleged paid cyber-harassment system, according to the newspapers L’Observateur and Libération, cited by Dakaractu.

The Special Cybersecurity Division allegedly traced several transfers ranging from 200,000 to 1 million CFA francs to TikTok users tasked with attacking designated individuals. Part of the funds was supposed to go to Adamo to insult, among others, Tata Nafi Cannes and “Proud to be African”, according to L’Observateur, which does not confirm that the money was actually handed over to him. Rokhaya Fall was due to be released from prison on Friday, according to Libération.

These financial details were made public on the day Mame Diarra Thiam was placed in police custody in the investigation. The announcement of her detention, published on 23 October, is reported in the investigation into online insults targeting Diodio Glow Skin.
