Senegal’s Special Cybersecurity Division allegedly intercepted audio exchanges between Rokhaya Fall, known as Rox la Chancelière, and a TikToker in the investigation involving Mame Diarra Thiam, alias Diodio Glow Skin. The conversations reportedly mentioned a payment of 500,000 CFA francs via Wave, reports SeneNews.

Audio exchanges between Rokhaya Fall, known as “Rox la Chancelière”, and an alleged TikTok user refer to the payment of 500,000 CFA francs to Mame Diarra Thiam, known as Diodio Glow Skin. The conversations, which also reportedly mentioned a transfer via Wave and live TikTok broadcasts, were allegedly among the material intercepted by the Special Cybersecurity Division, reports Senenews.

During a confrontation organised in the presence of their lawyers, Mame Diarra Thiam maintained her statements and denied paying 500,000 CFA francs to record a live broadcast on TikTok. She said Rox had decided to defend her, along with her team, against attacks on social media, while acknowledging that she provided financial assistance to people in difficulty, reports Senenews.

The confrontation came after Diodio Glow Skin was placed in police custody on 23 October as part of an investigation into online insults. It followed reports of nearly 7 million CFA francs paid to Rox over one year, and the extension of her police custody announced on 24 October. Diodio Glow Skin’s lawyers also denied her confessions in their challenge to the statements.
