Karamo’s flatmate says investigators detained him before Aminata Sy’s alleged killer because he was the tenant of the home where the young woman was found dead. He says the police had not yet located Karamo, according to his testimony reported by Senego and Kawtef.
The man says he met Aminata Sy only once, when Karamo introduced her to him as his sister, again according to Senego. He gave his testimony as part of the investigation into the young woman’s death in Podor.
The testimony comes after the search for Aminata Sy’s boyfriend and the suspect’s arrest, whose detention has been extended in Senegal, according to the extension of the suspect’s detention.
