Washington is offering up to $20 million and possible relocation in exchange for information on Iran's nuclear programme. The offer targets facilities, equipment and scientific personnel linked to the programme, according to US Central Command and the US State Department.
The US Rewards for Justice programme is offering up to $20 million and possible relocation in exchange for information on Iran's nuclear programme, including facilities, equipment and scientific personnel. US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the offer on Friday on X.
The US State Department says Iran's lack of cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has led to a loss of "continuity of knowledge" about the production and stocks of essential components, including centrifuges. President Donald Trump meanwhile said on Friday that Iran wanted to reach a deal to end the war, while mediators continue their diplomatic efforts.
Trump also said that US forces had practically destroyed Iran's nuclear programme. Earlier in the week, he had mentioned one or two targets still to be dealt with, including Pickaxe Mountain, a site in central Iran that Tehran denies is a nuclear facility.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Tuesday that his government was still seeking to resolve the crisis through dialogue.
