Tottenham refuse to sell Romero to Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur refuse to sell Cristian Romero to Arsenal during the summer transfer window. The Argentine defender is instead moving closer to Atlético de Madrid, while FC Barcelona are also interested in signing him, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano in a post on the social media platform X.

Tottenham Hotspur, the English Premier League club, have ruled out selling their Argentine centre-back Cristian Romero to Arsenal this summer. The London club do not want to strengthen their local rivals and are instead close to an agreement with Atlético de Madrid, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano on the social media platform X.

Cristian Romero has agreed terms with the Madrid club, which is expected to submit a new offer to Tottenham shortly. The talks have entered their final stage, while FC Barcelona, focused on the Rodri deal, have not yet made an offer for the defender, according to Fabrizio Romano.
