North Korea tested attack drones, cruise missiles and rocket launchers at a military demonstration. Kim Jong-un called for the development of military drones and artificial intelligence to be accelerated, amid continuing tensions with South Korea, according to North Korean state media.
North Korea fired around 10 short-range ballistic missiles from Wonsan towards the Sea of Japan, according to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff. The tests prompted Seoul and the Japan Coast Guard to step up vigilance amid heightened military tensions on the peninsula, L’essentiel reports.
