Morocco and Chile have signed an agricultural health protocol between Morocco’s National Office for Food Safety (ONSSA) and Chile’s Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG). The agreement harmonises the sanitary and phytosanitary procedures applicable to trade in agricultural and food products and simplifies formalities.

The protocol is expected to reduce processing times at borders and facilitate trade, while strengthening protection of agricultural production in both countries in accordance with international standards.
