The MoMo School Pay platform helps Ugandan schools collect fees digitally, reducing queues and cash handling. It also facilitates payment tracking and revenue reconciliation as schools increasingly adopt digital solutions, according to The Independent Uganda.

MTN’s MoMo School Pay platform enables Ugandan schools to streamline the collection and tracking of school fees, while allowing parents to pay remotely. It is intended in particular to reduce long queues during enrolment periods and the handling of large amounts of cash.

At Jinja School of Nursing and Midwifery, a Ugandan institution providing nursing and midwifery training, the adoption of MoMo School Pay has helped simplify work related to fee collection, according to The Independent. Digital payments also make it easier to track and reconcile them.
