The Lubumbashi derby between TP Mazembe and FC Saint-Éloi Lupopo has been postponed from 6 to 7 November 2026. The Linafoot match is due to be played at Frédéric Kibasa Maliba Stadium after this organisational adjustment, reports Africa Top Sports.

The Lubumbashi derby between TP Mazembe, a Congolese top-flight club, and FC Saint-Éloi Lupopo, its local rival, will be played on 7 November at Frédéric Kibasa Maliba Stadium, rather than on 6 November as planned. Linafoot officials postponed the match by 24 hours for organisational reasons, reports Africa Top Sports.

The match will pit two of the leading teams in the Congolese championship against each other, as part of Linafoot, the top division of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Supporters of both clubs will have to wait an extra day for this Lubumbashi derby, according to Africa Top Sports.

The postponement comes after TP Mazembe were eliminated by Club Africain in the CAF Champions League, announced on 25 October. FC Saint-Éloi Lupopo, for their part, beat Butras 2-0 in Linafoot on 26 October, a result marked by the sending-off of Djo Issama Mpeko.
