Togolese visual artist Kokou Ekouagou presented 14 works at the ArtTrip exhibition, held from 11 to 13 September 2026 at Atelier Basfroi in Paris. Some were his own, while others were by visual artists from the Art Héritage Culture association, which he represented, Icilomé reports.

The exhibition, organised by artist and curator Marlène Hue, brought together around 60 contemporary artists. The participation extends a collaboration launched in Kara at the Kar’ARTS group exhibition, held from 11 to 18 July and centred on “Laking”, the traditional hunt in Kabyè country.

On 24 October, Ekouagou also visited the international Art Shopping fair at the Carrousel du Louvre with collage artist and author Lielie Sellier. The fair brought together more than 300 artists and galleries. Discussions with UWEE Group focused in particular on the links between artistic creation, social cohesion and organisations working in the field, including the World Food Programme.
