Hansi Flick says FC Barcelona are ready for the Clásico against Real Madrid and calls the fixture football’s finest match. The Barcelona manager also praised José Mourinho, describing him as a highly accomplished coach, according to Seneweb.

FC Barcelona manager Hansi Flick said on Saturday that his team was ready to face Real Madrid on Sunday at Camp Nou in the Liga Clásico. “It is the best match that this sport can offer,” he said, adding that the game was about more than its three points, according to Seneweb.

Hansi Flick also praised José Mourinho, the Real Madrid manager, saying he deeply respected his success at the clubs he had managed. Facing the threat posed by Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé, the German coach stressed his players’ positioning, their spacing and their ability to press the player in possession, according to Seneweb.

Hansi Flick’s comments came after José Mourinho’s return to the Clásico was announced on 24 October. They also form part of preparations for a match played after FC Barcelona lost midfielder Dani Olmo, announced on 21 October in LaLiga.
