José Mourinho will take charge of his first Clásico since returning to the Real Madrid bench on Sunday 25 October 2026, against FC Barcelona at Camp Nou. The Catalan club, leaders of La Liga, will host a Madrid side coached by the 63-year-old Portuguese, Punch reports.
The match revives a rivalry that Mourinho shaped during his first spell in Madrid, from 2010 to 2013. He led Real Madrid to the Spanish title in 2012, ending the dominance of FC Barcelona, managed by Pep Guardiola.
The clashes between the two clubs reached their peak in 2011, with four matches played in 18 days. Real Madrid won the Copa del Rey final with a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo, before losing to FC Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals.
The fixture comes after Mourinho decided to keep Vinícius in his squad despite the competition, and as FC Barcelona have lost their midfielder Dani Olmo ahead of the Clásico.
