Abdul Fatoma, executive director of Campaign for Human Rights and Development International (CHRDI), says administrative injustices in Sierra Leone undermine families, public trust and national peace. In a statement published on 29 October, he called on citizens to act collectively to tackle the problem.

Fatoma believes the consequences extend beyond those directly affected: each administrative injustice also affects a family and a household. He denounced the frustration and discontent these situations can cause, as well as the risks they pose to the country’s development.

The CHRDI official also called for public debate to refocus on the difficulties affecting citizens’ daily lives. His remarks were circulated under the hashtag #AMF06.
