British smartphone start-up Nothing will launch its first product designed around artificial intelligence in December, its chief executive, Carl Pei, announced on Wednesday 4 November on social media platform X. He described it as a productivity tool without a new screen and not in the form of an application.
Nothing has not yet revealed the product’s exact nature or set a release date. Carl Pei said it would be an “AI-native” product, with the personality and care associated with the brand’s devices, according to TechCrunch.
The company also plans to market AI-linked smart glasses and earbuds with integrated AI functions. Carl Pei nevertheless distanced himself from the wearable devices discussed by the industry, such as pendants, brooches, glasses and personal assistants, TechCrunch reports.
