Mauritanian company Maurilog and Danish transport and logistics group DSV have formed a partnership to offer integrated services to businesses and support major projects in Mauritania. Announced in early October at the Port of Nouakchott, their cooperation builds on a relationship of more than 25 years, according to Lecalame.

Mauritanian transport and logistics company MAURILOG and Danish group DSV have announced a strategic partnership to support projects in Mauritania and further connect the national economy to global supply chains. The agreement was announced in early October at MAURILOG’s headquarters in the Port of Nouakchott.

The cooperation builds on more than 25 years of relations between MAURILOG and DB Schenker, which DSV acquired in 2025. It is intended to provide integrated logistics services to companies operating in Mauritania, particularly in offshore gas, mining, renewable energy and green hydrogen projects.

The announcement was made in the presence of representatives from the private sector, port authorities and the Mauritanian Investment Promotion Agency. Prospects for cooperation in infrastructure, fisheries, agriculture and pharmaceuticals were also discussed, alongside a presentation by Lars Jensen of Vespucci Maritime on developments in global shipping.
