Cristiano Ronaldo is included in Portugal's preliminary squad for the next international break, despite recent tensions with manager Jorge Jesus. The inclusion does not guarantee his final call-up for the next Nations League matches, Portuguese media outlet O Jogo reports.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Al-Nassr forward, is included in Portugal's preliminary squad for November's Nations League matches, Portuguese sports outlet O Jogo reports. This step does not guarantee his final call-up.

Portugal are due to face Denmark on 14 November, followed by Wales on 17 November. Ronaldo had said he would not return to the national team while Jorge Jesus, Portugal's manager and his former coach at Al-Nassr, remained in the post. Jesus said the doors of the national team were open to him, while recalling that he made the decisions over selection.
