The Guinean Advertising Office (OGP) trade union praised the record of Aladji Cellou Camara, who led the institution for 18 months, during the handover ceremony with his successor Mohamed Bangoura “Bang’s”. The secretary-general of the union section, Mohamed Charles Kolié, notably cited the regular payment of salaries, the clearance of 2024 arrears and the payment of social security contributions to the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), according to Guinéenews.

Workers also highlighted the rental of a modern six-storey building and the renewal of field resources with two pick-up vehicles and new motorbikes. Mohamed Charles Kolié said these measures had helped improve staff’s living and working conditions, while calling for these gains to be preserved despite internal tensions and successive changes in leadership, Guinéenews reports.

The ceremony took place after Mohamed Bangoura took over at the OGP, where he presented his priorities for restoring the institution on 20 October. The union must now work with a workforce comprising 145 permanent employees on open-ended contracts and 174 other workers, according to figures provided by Mohamed Charles Kolié.
