Guinea's National Assembly issued around 20 recommendations on financing the 148.860-kilometre Labé-Tougué road, the Banti-Koubia branch road and a 200-metre bridge over the Bafing. The project is to last 36 months and be carried out by Compagnie Sahélienne d’Entreprise, according to the parliamentary report.

Guinea's National Assembly met on Saturday 17 October 2026 to examine the loan agreement intended to finance the construction and tarring of the 148.860-kilometre Labé-Tougué national road. The project also includes an 11.443-kilometre branch road between Banti and Koubia and the construction of a 200-metre bridge over the Bafing River, reports Mosaiqueguinee.

The agreement was examined on 13 and 15 October by the Committee on Economic and Financial Affairs, Planning and Cooperation, together with officials from Guinea's ministries responsible for infrastructure, public works, the economy, finance and the budget, according to Mosaiqueguinee. The plenary was due to rule on authorising its ratification, as part of 20 recommendations devoted to the road project.
