Cape Verdean airline TACV suspended its general meeting after outgoing board member Mário Tavares refused to join the new board of directors. The state successively proposed management teams of four and then three members, but these options were deemed incompatible with the company's articles of association, according to the meeting's office.
The general meeting of TACV, the Cape Verdean airline, suspended its meeting on Friday 16 October over the composition of the new board of directors. Outgoing board member Mário Tavares refused to join the new management team, the general meeting's office said on Saturday in a statement seen by A NAÇÃO.
The state's representative, TACV's majority shareholder, initially proposed a management solution, but the meeting was suspended. The general meeting's office said it was ready to convene a new meeting as soon as a legally compliant solution had been found for forming the board of directors.
