An overload on the 60-kilovolt power line linking Matoto to Kipé is temporarily disrupting electricity supply in some neighbourhoods of Ratoma and Matoto, in Conakry. Électricité de Guinée reported the disruption in a statement published on Saturday, according to Visionguinee.

Electricity supply is temporarily disrupted in some neighbourhoods of the Ratoma and Matoto municipalities in Conakry because of an overload on the 60-kilovolt line connecting Matoto to Kipé, Électricité de Guinée (EDG) said on Saturday.

The state-owned company gave this explanation as several areas in the two municipalities experienced power cuts. The line in question supplies neighbourhoods in these parts of Conakry, according to EDG.
