LeBron James responded ironically to Donald Trump’s criticism, after Trump accused him of disrespecting the US national anthem. After Philadelphia’s 114-106 win over Cleveland, the NBA star said it was a quiet day at the office, according to local media.

LeBron James, the Philadelphia 76ers forward, responded ironically to Donald Trump’s criticism after his team’s victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers (114-106) in the NBA on Friday. “It’s a quiet day at the office,” the 41-year-old American player said in the mixed zone, according to AFP.

LeBron James scored 17 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and made five assists in the game, during which Philadelphia came back from a 29-point deficit. 76ers coach Nick Nurse said the controversy was part of the “outside noise” already familiar to his team, according to AFP.

The player’s response came after Donald Trump’s criticism of LeBron James, published on Friday. The US president reproached him for warm-up movements performed during the national anthem and had previously demanded an apology from LeBron James.
