Renaissance Sportive de Berkane beat Star Sport Academy 1-0 to qualify for the CAF Champions League group stage, winning 3-0 on aggregate. Youssef Mehri scored the only goal of the second leg, Africatopsports reports.

RS Berkane, the Moroccan club, qualified for the group stage of the 2026-2027 CAF Champions League by beating Sierra Leone’s Star Sport Academy 1-0 on Saturday in the second-leg match of the second preliminary round, according to Africatopsports. The Moroccan club won 3-0 on aggregate.

Youssef Mehri scored the only goal of the match. RS Berkane had already won the first leg and completed the two-legged tie with two victories, according to Africatopsports. It will now await the identities of its opponents in the group stage.
