Almameh Gibba, National Assembly Member for Foni Kansala and candidate for the No To Alliance Movement, says his movement has nationwide support, not only in the Foni region. In an interview with West Coast Radio, he also ruled out joining President Barrow’s ruling Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction party, according to Kerr Fatou.

Almameh Gibba, National Assembly Member for Foni Kansala and candidate for the No To Alliance Movement, says his movement has support in several regions of The Gambia ahead of the 5 December presidential election. He rejected the idea that his following was limited to Foni, his traditional stronghold, in an interview with West Coast Radio, Kerr Fatou reports.

Gibba cited a recent political rally at which, he said, supporters from different parts of the country had taken part. He thus challenged the perception that his movement had only local support.
