The match was preparation for Parliament’s game against the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA), scheduled for Tuesday 27 October in the inter-ministerial tournament. Parliamentary opposition leader Abdul Kargbo directed play in midfield, while opposition whip Abdul Karim Kamara made several attacking moves. The parliamentary football coordination team called on MPs and parliamentary staff to support the team against EDSA, according to Sierraloaded.
