A drone attack damaged several industrial sites in Togliatti, central-western Russia, without causing any fatalities, according to an initial assessment given by the city's mayor, Ilia Soukhikh. The Ukrainian General Staff said it had targeted the Togliattikauchuk petrochemical plant, one of Russia's leading synthetic rubber producers, Reuters reports, cited by TimesLIVE.
The Ukrainian army also claimed a strike on the Proton electronics plant in the Oryol region, which reportedly manufactures components for cruise and ballistic missiles. Regional governor Andrei Klychkov reported three deaths on Friday in a Ukrainian strike on an unidentified civilian site.

Russia's Defence Ministry said its air defences had destroyed 1,297 drones, a French SCALP cruise missile and four Ukrainian Neptune missiles in 24 hours, according to Reuters.
