Tunisia’s flu vaccination campaign will begin on 27 October, with 280,000 doses available in pharmacies and public facilities. The maximum price will fall to 24 dinars, from around 38 previously, according to Aymen Khélifi of the Tunisian Union of Community Pharmacists, La Presse reports.

The seasonal flu vaccine will cost no more than 24 dinars per dose in Tunisia during the national campaign starting on 27 October, compared with around 38 dinars in the previous campaign. Aymen Khélifi, deputy secretary-general of the Tunisian Union of Community Pharmacists (SPOT), announced the price reduction, La Presse reports.

Around 280,000 doses are planned. They will be available in private pharmacies, basic health centres and public health facilities. Aymen Khélifi attributed the decrease to the adjustment mechanism introduced by the Central Pharmacy of Tunisia, according to La Presse.
