The Algerian Embassy in Spain plans a mobile consular service in A Coruña, Galicia, enabling Algerian nationals to complete procedures without travelling to Madrid. Applications must be submitted before 10 November 2026; services include passports, identity cards, civil status and electoral procedures, Observ’Algérie reports.

The Algerian Embassy in Madrid will organise a mobile consular service in A Coruña, in north-western Spain, for Algerian nationals in its consular district, including those living in Galicia. Applications must be sent before 10 November 2026, Observ’Algérie says.

The service is intended to allow people to complete civil-status procedures, renew passports and biometric national identity cards, register with the consulate and deal with certain formalities related to national service or electoral rolls. Users will also be able to collect documents already issued, including passports, identity cards and certificates relating to national service. The embassy recommends checking beforehand that the documents are available.

Applications must be sent by email before 10 November, with the applicant’s surname, first name, telephone number, place of residence and requested procedure. To renew a biometric passport or biometric national identity card, a physical application file must also be sent by express mail.

The initiative is part of a series of mobile services organised by Algerian consulates, including the one in Marseille, which had announced a service in Arles on 2 October. Algerian consulates in France organise mobile services.
